Developing and supporting a WordPress website for Mortgage Studio, based on a design by Studio Polpetto and built around clear mortgage, insurance and advice journeys.

Challenge

What needed solving

Mortgage Studio needed a WordPress site that could turn a strong design direction from Studio Polpetto into a practical, easy-to-manage website for an independent mortgage broker. The site had to explain multiple advice routes, support regulated financial-services content, surface trust signals and make it easy for visitors to speak to a qualified advisor.

Approach

What we did

Build from a strong design

Studio Polpetto created the design direction, and our job was to translate that into a working WordPress site that respected the visual intent while staying practical for content management.

Structure the advice journeys

The site needed clear routes for first-time buyers, remortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, moving home, equity release and insurance, so visitors could quickly find the advice that matched their situation.

Support regulated content

Mortgage and insurance content carries extra responsibility, so the build needed space for clear disclaimers, regulatory information, complaints, privacy and terms content.

Keep trust visible

Calls to speak to a qualified advisor, Google reviews, testimonials and contact details are kept close to the user journey so the site feels credible and easy to act on.

Outcome

What changed

A clearer broker website

Mortgage Studio can explain a wide range of mortgage and insurance services without overwhelming visitors who may be making big financial decisions.

A useful WordPress foundation

The site gives the team manageable page structures, blog content and service routes that can be updated and supported over time.

Design carried through into build

Studio Polpetto's design work was implemented as a functioning website, keeping the brand feel intact while making the site practical for real users.

A site built around enquiry

Phone, email and contact routes are clear throughout, helping visitors move from research to speaking with a qualified advisor.

Mortgage Studio is an independent mortgage broker based in Worthing, providing advice across Sussex, London and nationally.

Their website has to do a lot of useful work. It needs to help first-time buyers, people remortgaging, landlords, home movers, equity release customers and insurance customers find the right information quickly. It also needs to feel calm and credible, because people are often visiting while making large financial decisions.

The design was created by Studio Polpetto, an award-winning branding and website design agency in Sussex. Our role was WordPress development and website support: turning that design into a working site that Mortgage Studio could rely on.

Turning design into WordPress

Good design still needs careful development behind it.

For Mortgage Studio, the job was to implement Studio Polpetto’s visual direction in WordPress without losing the clarity of the design or making the site difficult to manage. The finished site needed to look polished, but it also had to support real content: service pages, advice sections, testimonials, blog posts, contact routes and regulated financial information.

That kind of site benefits from structure. Mortgage content can become dense quickly, so the build needed to make the main user journeys obvious. Visitors should not have to understand the mortgage market before they can find the page that applies to them.

Clear routes for different customers

Mortgage Studio works with people at different stages of property ownership.

The site gives those audiences clear entry points: first-time buyers, remortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, moving home, equity release and insurance. Each route has its own purpose, but the overall experience stays consistent. Visitors can understand what Mortgage Studio helps with, then move towards speaking to a qualified advisor.

That matters because a mortgage broker website is not just there to publish information. It needs to reduce uncertainty. The page structure, navigation and calls to action all support that job.

Trust, reviews and regulation

Financial-services websites have to earn trust quickly.

Mortgage Studio’s site keeps important trust signals visible: the independent broker positioning, the qualified-advisor phone number, Google reviews, testimonials and clear contact information. It also has to carry the practical details that come with regulated advice, including Financial Conduct Authority information, complaints, terms, cookies and privacy content.

Those details are not glamorous, but they are important. A good WordPress build needs to give them a proper home without letting them get in the way of the customer journey.

Ongoing support

Websites like this are not static brochures. Mortgage products, advice content, compliance wording, blog posts and contact information all need to be maintained over time.

Our support work gives Mortgage Studio a technical partner for the site after launch. That means the WordPress site can keep running, keep being updated and keep supporting the business without every change becoming a new project.

The result is a professional WordPress site that brings Studio Polpetto’s design to life and gives Mortgage Studio a useful, maintainable platform for mortgage advice, insurance information and new enquiries.
